I’m happy to offer an assessment to pinpoint what techniques and strategies could help your learner progress in reading, writing, and spelling. This is not a formal diagnosis. It's not a neuropsych evaluation. It's not even formal testing. It's an informal assessment that allows me to:

• find your child's Guided Reading Level, lexile level, DRA level, grade level.

• identify the reading strategies your child is using, and the ones they need to utilize more frequently

• identify the spelling strategies your child is using, and the ones they need to utilize more frequently

• identify the writing strategies your child is using, and the ones they need to utilize more frequently

Depending on your child's needs, the assessment may include:

• reading authentic leveled text passages

• reading a list of grade-leveled words

• reading a list of names to assess phonics knowledge

• a developmental dictation passage

• a developmental spelling test

• an authentic writing sample

FREE - If you decide to have me work with your child on a regular basis.

$78 - If you decide to try working with your child on your own, based on my assessment and recommendations.

$117- If you'd like a written report of your child's assessment, in addition to my recommendations given at our meeting after the assessment.
